What students learn
At New Lambton Heights Infants School, students follow the NSW curriculum and enjoy a variety of learning experiences, including:
- English – learning to read, write, listen and speak with confidence
- Mathematics – building strong number sense and problem-solving skills
- Science and Technology – exploring the world through hands-on investigations
- Creative Arts – expressing themselves through music, dance, drama and visual arts
- Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) – developing healthy lifestyles, teamwork and physical skills
- Human Society and Its Environment (HSIE) – learning about people, places, history and culture
These experiences help students build the foundations for future learning, while also encouraging creativity, curiosity and confidence in the early years.
At our school, students can take part in special religious education (SRE) or special education in ethics (SEE) classes, depending on what’s available. These classes are delivered by approved providers.
When enrolling your child, you’ll be able to choose an option from the approved providers offered at our school. Students not attending SRE or SEE are given supervised alternative meaningful activities.
You’re welcome to change your choice at any time. Just let us know in writing or use the online form (if available at our school).
In 2025 there are no special education in ethics approved providers available at this school.
